hide and sheep: October 2011

Monday

This is the link to the Mahala competition.

Link love for you all this wonderful wet Monday morning.

Stand a chance to win a free Hide and Sheep shirt?

If you want to buy one, on the other hand, it's only 150 smakeroos.
And totally worth it.

If you don't want to check out how cool we are, and have stumbled upon this by accident, at least take some time for this wonderful song from Fantastic Mr Fox.

Saturday

Mahala giveaway photos

We're so super serious!
Mahala magazine (www.mahala.co.za) is doing a Hide and Sheep shirt giveaway over the next two weeks! So we had to prepare for that...with photos (amongst other things)!

Jono took them, so thanks boet.
Cynthia styled us, so thanks boet.
Graham looked silly with me, so thanks boet.

Friday

Halloweekend

Who needs Hello Kitty when you have Hallo Teddy? Yes. I just did that.

So for all you teddy zombie junkies out there, Happy Halloweekend!

Saturday

Hide and Sheep Launch

Things on this side have been c-razy!
(As usual.)

And I come bearing good news.
Great news in fact....
Hide and Sheep has had its official launch! (A launch that was ama-zing!)

We cranked out them cupcakes, we shirted-up and sat enjoying Jack Parow and Niskerone on Jammie Plaza. We ate bright pink, bright green, bright blue and purple cupcakes (with wonderful hand-ground icing sugar which got involved as lemon icing) and 100's and 1000's...from the 1990s.

We had Jules (below) taking stunning pictures (the average ones are from when I was taking them!). Thanks Jules. You rock!
We had everyone pimping their shirts. We had sales, we had interested people. We advertised. We sat outside.
I'd like you to give a big and friendly welcome to Hide and Sheep from the photos below!
And if you like them so much and want to order one, they're R150 and write on Hide and Sheep's page (www.facebook.com/hideandsheep).

I'ma be I'ma be I'ma I'ma I'ma be

The Black Eyed Peas clearly knew where I was going with this blog post, I mean they're just shy from actually naming Hide and Sheep in these lyrics:

I'm a be rockin' like this (What)
Ya'll niggas wanna talk shit (But)
Wantin' you put it on the blog, nigga
Rockin' like this my job, nigga
We can’t help that we popular
And all these folks want to flock to us
Come to a show and just rock with us

a Million plus with binoculars.

Basically, the sample is out and magnificent! Here's a 'lil preview that I posted on our Facebook page last week. If you care about Hide and Sheep, it's probably in your interest to like the Facebook page- I'm more reliable with it- www.facebook.com/hideandsheep.

But if you're old school and into reading quickly constructed sentences then this is for you! I hope you like our sample, I sure do. It's an average pic but at least you'll get the gist of what Hide and Sheep means.

The first print run is coming out next week.

We're excited. I hope you are too!
